The ACA are committed to ensuring all members are following quality care standards relating to healthcare and chiropractic, as well as pursing further chiropractic research and supporting university chiropractic programs, all to enhance the quality of care for patients.

The ACA Policy Committee meets to confirm, amend and/or expand the policies to accurately reflect the members’ views and attitudes.

ACA Statement on COVID-19 Vaccination
The ACA reiterates its support of the Australian Government’s non-mandatory approach to the COVID-19 vaccination rollout and believes that informed personal choice is a fundamental component of best practice healthcare.

Quality Care Statement
ACA Statement on Quality Care endorsed November 2016 will guide practitioner behaviour when caring for infants and children (including immunisation), advertising and when visiting health facilities.

Funding of Research
The ACA is the largest continuous funder of research and academic capacity building in Australia. Current projects include four PhDs, the CARL fellowship program and BACE-Australia. Past programs included the ACORN Practice-based network and Masters of Research scholarships.
