This two day seminar will feature a variety of speakers from chiropractic, physiotherapy, podiatry and strength & conditioning, and aims to educate the health practitioner about rehabilitation, strength & conditioning principles and returning their patients/athletes to performance.

Speakers

Headlining this seminar will be Lachlan Wilmot, Head of Athletic Performance at the Parramatta Eels NRL club, and formerly the GWS Giants AFL club. Lachlan will be discussing plyometrics, rehab to performance, and strength & conditioning for hamstring injuries.

David Joyce an internationally recongised leader in elite sporting performance and sports medicine will also be taking the stage. His passion is developing systems and athletes that enhance the probability of winning elite sporting competitions.

Both Lachlan and David will be joined by an array of Australian chiropractic speakers, so make sure you register early for this exciting event!

Preceding this two day seminar on Friday 19 July will be the ASCA Level 1 certification for chiropractors, which is a condensed one day version of their usual two day seminar.

Registrations for the ASCA Level 1, must be done through the ASCA website and is only available for SCA members.

Lachlan Wilmot

Lachlan Wilmot

Lachlan Wilmot has been working in the fitness industry going on 15 years, working with both the general population and elite level athletes. After completing a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science, Lachlan continued his education, completing his Honours thesis in Sports Science.

Lachlan spent 8 years as the Senior Athletic Performance Coach specialising in strength and power at the GWS Giants AFL Club based in Sydney, after previous involvement with the AIS-AFL Academy and NSW/ACT AFL Academy. Currently, Lachlan is the Head of Athletic Performance at the Parramatta Eels NRL Club.

David Joyce

David Joyce

David Joyce is an internationally recognised leader in elite sporting performance and sports medicine. His passion is developing systems and athletes that enhance the probability of winning elite sporting competitions.

David has worked with hundreds of elite athletes, including multiple world and olympic champions and is currently the Head of Athletic Performance at the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL).

He has worked in professional rugby at club and international level in both the UK and Australia, in club and international football (soccer) in the English Premier League and in Turkey and across two olympic cycles (Team GB for the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and Team China for the London Olympics in 2012), in both performance coaching and sports medicine.

David has also published two books on integrated high performance (High Performance Training for Sport and Sports Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation) and his work has been translated into many languages around the world.
