The next AICE Sports & Exercise webinar, titled Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy will be held Wednesday 19 October 2022 and presented by physiotherapist Anthony Nasser.
This webinar will take a deep dive into the diagnosis and rehabilitation of proximal hamstring tendinopathy. Anthony has been researching this area for the past six years and will provide an update on the latest evidence and clinical implications for both assessment and management of proximal hamstring tendinopathy – a common cause of persistent buttock pain in the athletic population.

Learning Outcomes
Attendees will learn to:
- distinguish between common differential diagnosis of proximal hamstring tendinopathy;
- be able to systematically diagnose proximal hamstring tendinopathy and identify common clinical presentations (e.g. impairments);
- understand the latest evidence on proximal hamstring tendinopathy – including invasive and non-invasive management;
- plan rehabilitation based on the latest evidence and current best practice to enhance outcomes for proximal hamstring tendinopathy
Speaker
Anthony Nasser
Anthony Nasser is a clinical researcher and physiotherapy lecturer at UTS Queensland with expertise in tendon pain.
Anthony’s research is built on a strong clinical background. He has over 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy and is a Titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. He has been involved in teaching musculoskeletal physiotherapy since 2014.
Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney and a Clinical Masters of physiotherapy, in the field of sports, from the University of Queensland.
