AICE Sports & Exercise are presenting a webinar titled Hip Pain Differential Diagnosis to be held Wednesday 2 August 2023 and presented by sports physician Dr Jude Miller.
This one-hour webinar covers commonly encountered and some not-so-common hip disorders with an emphasis on sports-related conditions. Dr Miller will review pertinent clinical hip anatomy, patient history, and examination in regard to hip complaints, appropriate additional work-up (imaging/labs), and a regional-based approach to the differential diagnosis of the hip.

Learning Outcomes
Participants will:
- Review hip anatomy and pathoanatomic associated with hip injury/pathology;
- Learn to understand common hip pain presentations and appropriate triage;
- Learn to understand when imaging, labs, and medical referral/co-management are appropriate for a variety of hip pathologies; and
- be able to perform an evidence-based hip physical examination.

Speaker
Dr Jude Miller
Dr Miller holds bachelor’s degrees in Health & Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise Science, and a degree in Life Sciences, a Master of Science in Sports Science & Rehabilitation, and Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University in 2011. He also has post-doctorate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC).
Jude spent seven years in private practice with a focus on sports medicine and geriatrics. During that time he served as the chiropractic team physician for a small college covering 4 sports. Following private practice he became full-time faculty for Logan University and worked at the University of Memphis as a full-time member of the sports medicine staff, covering 20 sports teams.
For four years he exclusively worked with high-level college athletes and professional athletes. He continues to teach sports medicine courses as adjunct faculty at Logan University as well as teaching post-graduate continuing education courses.
