Clinical Approach to Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome
AICE Neurorehabilitation are presenting a webinar, titled Clinical Approach to Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) to be held on Wednesday 15 February 2023 and presented by chiropractic neurologist Dr Nathan Keiser.
POTS is a prevalent feature of concussion, neck injury, post- viral injury, peripheral neuropathy, connective tissue disorders and many other disorders commonly encountered in chiropractic practice.
In this one hour webinar Dr Nathan Keiser will discuss the common diagnostic features of POTS and how they can be evaluated, common mechanisms involved and management considerations for these patients.

Participants will understand:
- the diagnostic criteria for POTS and other related autonomic disorders;
- physiological models of autonomic function in service of improving patient outcomes;
- the common vs contemporary practices relative to autonomic diagnosis; and
- through case presentation, learners will develop clinical frameworks for treatment approaches.
Dr Nathan Keiser
Dr Nathan Keiser DC, DACNB, FABBIR is a board certified chiropractic neurologist specialising in non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical treatment of dysautonomia, traumatic brain injury, and movement disorders. Dr Keiser was certified as a diplomate in chiropractic neurology by the American Board of Chiropractic Neurology (ACNB) in 2010 and has since served patients from across North America and around the globe in private practice.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Keiser serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology for the Carrick Institute, which provides Post-Graduate instruction for doctors of all disciplines in the field of clinical and functional neurology. He is actively involved in ongoing research and presents regularly across North America and Europe.
