The next AICE Sports and Exercise webinar titled ‘ACL Tear Healing Without Surgery: Is the Game Changing?’ will be held on Wednesday 5 April 2023 and presented by physiotherapist Dr Kieran Richardson.
In this one hour webinar, Dr Richardson will talk about the long held belief in musculoskeletal injury management in that ACL tears never heal – this misconception is now being heavily questioned. Dr Richardson will also go through his personal journey with ACL tear management and change in practice towards assessing for healing capacity.

Speaker
Dr Kieran Richardson
Dr Kieran Richardson is a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist based in Perth, Australia. He is also the Director of Global Specialist Physiotherapy, a consultancy company providing Formal Mentoring, Second Opinions and Professional Development for physiotherapists and clinics in Australia and internationally.
Dr Richardson has completed a physiotherapy degree, a postgraduate Masters degree in physiotherapy and a doctorate-level Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
He runs lectures and workshops for health care professionals nationally and internationally on the topic of ACL tear non-surgical management, and ACL healing. He has also overseen thousands of successful full thickness ACL tear-injured patients managed non-surgically, including return to high-level activity, with evidence of healing on repeat imaging.
